Jack F. Williamson, 96, of Lake of the Pines

Jack F. Williamson, a longtime resident of Lake of the Pines in Auburn, California, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, at the age of 96.

Jack was born in Culver City, California. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Army and served with distinction during the Korean War.

His primary career was with the U.S. Postal Service, where he began as a mail carrier and was later appointed as a Postal Inspector. He retired with the rank of U.S. Postal Inspector in Charge of the New York office.

Jack was an avid golfer and devoted 49ers fan. He enjoyed an active lifestyle that included boating, camping, and hiking. He was known as a strong, caring, and kind-hearted man with a great sense of humor who touched many lives throughout his years.

Jack is survived by his spouse Charlene Williamson of Lake of the Pines, Auburn; his daughter Cindi Barker and Ronald Zuber of Seattle; his son Keith Williamson and Lorraine Johannes of Reno; his grandson Alex Williamson and Krista Mangrum of Springfield, Tennessee; and his former wife Elaine Williamson of Seattle.
