2026 Edition of 'Exploring Nevada County' E-Guide Released

The Nevada County Historical Landmarks Commission has announced the release of the 2026 electronic edition of "Exploring Nevada County." Originally compiled by prominent local historian, the late David Comstock, it has been updated by Bernard Zimmerman, current chair of the Commission, and published as an e-guide by You Bet Press. The 2026 edition guides readers to over 250 landmarks scattered throughout Nevada County. Its 14 maps and almost 300 photographs can be used to tour sites on a desktop or loaded onto a mobile device for self-guided driving tours. Each landmark includes a link to Google Maps. The e-guide features detailed maps of downtown Grass Valley, Nevada City, and Truckee, along with hypertext links to Wikipedia, newspaper articles, and other historical sources.
