Charles Paul Aldrich, 70, of Grass Valley

Charles Paul Aldrich passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 70. He was born August 5, 1955.

Charlie grew up in San Jose, California, where he attended Piedmont High School. He was known for his athletic skills, enjoying golf and baseball during his high school years.

Charlie was a business owner in Grass Valley, having opened and operated Charlie's Original Door in 1987, a business that became part of the local community fabric.

Charlie is survived by Sue, Rachael, Ethan, and Bernice, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Lynette; his parents William and Bernice Aldrich; and his brothers Mark, Harry, David, and Ransom.
